At Matrizes we are specialists in wedding photography and driven by a passion for telling real stories. Based in Baena (Córdoba), we approach each wedding as a unique narrative: we seek naturalness, the small details and the emotions that make your day unforgettable. Santi — a photographer on our team — comes from a family of photographers and brings the technical and emotional experience needed to immortalize ceremonies with sensitivity and good taste. Our way of working is designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We start with a meeting at the studio to get to know each other, listen to your plans and understand who you are: tastes, style and priorities. From there we design a reportage that respects the authenticity of the day, combining a documentary approach with careful, elegant portraits. We don’t want to over-pose you; we prefer to be your eyes, appear only when it adds value and let moments flow so we can capture glances, laughter, hugs and details. What sets us apart is the blend of sensitivity and professionalism: we take care of composition, light and the narrative of the reportage without losing the closeness that will make you feel at ease in front of the camera. Additionally, as part of a Design and Communication Studio, we understand the importance of a coherent, well-crafted image — this shows in the final editing and in the presentation of the photographs. We offer full wedding coverage and also couple/pre-wedding sessions for those who want to practice in front of the camera before the big day. Our goal is for the photos to move you now and many years from now: to be meaningful memories you can look at and share.
