I’m Joaquín Villa, an educator and photographer trained at EFTI, based in Carmona (Seville). My career focuses mainly on wedding photography: that unique day when emotions, details and glances build a couple’s story. As a specialist in wedding reportage, my commitment is to tell your celebration with honesty, a timeless aesthetic and respect for spontaneous moments. My approach blends a documentary gaze with carefully considered portraits: I prefer to remain unobtrusive while the magic happens to capture natural gestures, genuine laughter and small scenes that become lasting memories. At the same time, I aim to create calm, elegant moments for formal portraits, always maintaining a relaxed, friendly atmosphere so couples and their families feel comfortable. I work in a personalised way: before the big day we meet, discuss your plans and, if you wish, we do an engagement session to build trust and explore locations. On the wedding day my priority is discretion and efficiency; afterwards I perform a careful selection and a thoughtful edit to deliver a coherent, emotive reportage. I also offer post-wedding sessions when you prefer a more relaxed shoot after the wedding. My studio in Carmona is a meeting point for consultations and pre-wedding sessions; I also cover weddings across the province and throughout Andalusia, adapting to the unique character of each celebration. I have collaborated with local institutions such as the Carmona Tourist Office, and I bring solid experience in social reportage, which contributes technical reliability and narrative sensitivity to every assignment.
