I’m María Benítez, a wedding photographer based in Chiclana de la Frontera. My work is born from the belief that photography can preserve the magic of a single moment: that fleeting second when everything feels true. That is why I specialize in wedding photography with a natural, timeless and documentary approach, seeking images that convey real emotions and endure over time. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? Because my priority is that you feel comfortable and at ease. In my reportage I aim to remain unobtrusive so I can capture what is genuine: glances, laughter, embraces and small gestures that, although brief, tell the whole story of the day. I work in both digital photography and film when the occasion calls for it, combining the sharpness and versatility of digital with the texture and warmth of film. My approach: documentary with care. When you hire me, we begin by talking so we get to know each other: we discuss the venue, the pace of the ceremony and which moments you want to remember most vividly. I offer couple sessions (pre-wedding/post-wedding) so your relationship with the camera is natural on the wedding day; these sessions are also useful to explore ideas and locations. On the wedding day I move calmly, attentive to light and emotion, alternating spontaneous images with intimate, elegant portraits when the couple wishes. How I deliver the work: I select and edit the images with careful attention to color and aesthetic coherence so the reportage feels cohesive and timeless. My commitment is that when you look at your photos you can relive what you felt that day over and over again, and that those images become a treasure for future generations.
