I am Juan Manuel Vacas, a wedding photographer based in Córdoba and serving Andalucía. My work is born from respect for the truth of each moment. I first opened my eyes in my father’s photographic darkroom, and after two decades working in photojournalism I now devote myself to creating wedding reportage with the same honesty: always pointing the lens at the soul, the eye and the heart. My specialty is wedding photography: I look for images that do not follow fleeting trends but that return the real feelings of the day. I work with a documentary yet elegant approach; I capture looks, gestures, laughter and silences with discretion so you have an authentic visual narrative. How I work: I like to meet you before the wedding to understand what moves you. The engagement session is a perfect opportunity to break the ice and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day I act with discretion and a sense of narrative: I accompany you from the preparations through to the reception, attentive to details and the small stories that make up the whole.
