I’m María, a wedding photographer based in Marbella, and for me photography is a time machine: I preserve memories that move us again years later. I specialize in wedding reportage that seeks sincerity—natural images, without forced poses, where looks, caresses and small gestures tell the story of the day. My approach combines documentary sensitivity with a carefully curated aesthetic. I work to remain unobtrusive during the intimate moments and to offer gentle direction at the important instants: from getting ready to the first dance. I enjoy walking with a couple along the beach as much as capturing the nerves and excitement of the "I do." My goal is for the photos to convey the true emotion of the day so that, when you look at them, you feel what you felt in that moment. Before the big day I usually recommend a pre-wedding session: it’s an opportunity for us to meet, to relax in front of the camera and to build confidence. On the wedding day I expand that closeness so everything flows naturally. Afterwards, I carefully select and edit the images to deliver a coherent wedding reportage, with light and color that respect the atmosphere of each moment. I am self-taught and always learning: I attend workshops and practice new techniques to offer contemporary, personal results.
