I am RAFARUBIO, a professional photographer since 2005, specializing in wedding photography based in La Zubia, near Granada. My work is born from a passion for making beautiful images with a distinct character and style: I aim for each photograph to preserve the emotion and authentic memory of the day, without artifices that distort it. My approach to wedding photography is founded on discretion, documentary sensitivity and gentle direction when needed. I prepare each wedding carefully—equipment, planning and a review of the key moments—but during the celebration I integrate naturally: I do not want to be the protagonist, I want events to unfold and to capture them at the decisive instant. I value quality over quantity; I prefer to deliver images with strength and meaning rather than an excessive number of empty photographs. I work with a blend of styles: natural reportage to capture looks and emotion, carefully crafted details that tell the story of the day, and couple portraits in which I seek elegance without forcing it. I also offer engagement sessions to build trust, rehearse the couple’s chemistry in front of the camera and create a coherent visual style for the big day. Beyond wedding reportage, family photography is another of my main specialties: studio and outdoor sessions designed to preserve each family’s intimacy and naturalness. As a complement, I produce videos with a film-like look—simple, emotive and paced with cinematic rhythm—designed so the memory remains lasting and true.
