I’m Bego, the person behind Begography — my work as a wedding photographer in Gijón is born from an obsession with telling authentic love stories. I’m not a conventional wedding photographer: I pursue naturalness, a fondness for everyday moments with a touch of rock ’n’ roll, and images as intense as the people living them. My aim is that when you look through your wedding gallery you feel the same as when you read a favorite line of a poem. My approach is documentary and close: I adapt to you, I don’t force poses, and I prioritise human connection so that images come out sincere, spontaneous and full of personality. I work with warm, skin-respecting editing that seeks a timeless result while preserving the day’s energy. I love making the most of northern Spain’s light — Asturias’ landscapes and sunsets — but I also accompany destination weddings when you’re planning to celebrate elsewhere. How do I work? We start with a relaxed first contact: you tell me your story, the day’s plan and what moves you. During the day I adapt to your rhythm: from preparations to the first dance, I look for the small and big gestures that make your wedding unique. I value closeness and trust; for me, being your photographer means being present with heart and judgement to turn moments into genuine memories. Although wedding photography is my main passion and speciality, I also offer portrait photography and family photography sessions, and I run training for photographers (workshops and one-to-one mentoring). These complementary projects help me sharpen my vision and provide a more complete service when you need it.
