My name is Carles Mascaró and I am a wedding photographer based in Ciutadella, Menorca. My approach is grounded in simplicity and closeness: I believe the essential element of wedding photography is the connection between the couple and the photographer. For this reason I avoid forced poses and intrusive flash; I prefer to be unobtrusive so I can capture authentic moments that reflect the spirit and soul of your day. I understand wedding photography as storytelling. Every wedding has its own rhythm, unique details and little anecdotes that, together, become the memory. My aim is to be the visual storyteller of that day: observing, anticipating and capturing glances, nervous gestures, spontaneous laughter and sincere embraces. I work with sensitivity and respect for the atmosphere, helping couples feel comfortable without losing their naturalness. The process is simple and personal. Before the big day we look for rapport: we talk, I listen to you and we plan the key moments so everything flows smoothly. During the wedding I integrate discreetly, trying to make my presence barely noticeable while staying alert to each instant to deliver a complete and coherent reportage. Afterwards I carefully select and edit the images, attending to light, color and emotion so each photo returns the memory as you lived it. Although my speciality is wedding photography, I also offer related sessions such as engagement and proposal shoots in Menorca, always maintaining the same natural and emotive style.
