Hello, I’m Patricia, the person behind Valvanera Studio, a wedding photography studio based in Bilbao. After years of telling stories from behind the camera, my work focuses on creating authentic, elegant wedding reportage with a poetic touch. I specialize in documenting your day so that, when you look at the photos, you can relive each emotion as if it were happening again. My working approach combines the sensitivity of documentary wedding photography with a love for the aesthetic of film. I seek naturalness: I’m there to capture looks, gestures and spontaneous smiles while remaining as discreet as possible so the celebration flows without interruptions. I often convert selected images to black and white to emphasize emotion and timelessness, applying a treatment that evokes the texture and warmth of celluloid. Throughout the process I pay attention to every detail: from an initial conversation to get to know you and understand which moments are important, to simple proposals for pre-wedding (engagement) or post-wedding sessions if you want to expand the story. I believe a good relationship with the couple is the foundation for sincere photos; that’s why I prioritize closeness, calm and clear communication at every step. Although my main focus is weddings, at Valvanera Studio I also create family photography and offer services related to analog photography, including film digitization and restoration, always maintaining the same aesthetic sensitivity. My experience covering weddings across Bilbao, Bizkaia and other regions of Spain allows me to adapt to different settings and paces while respecting the personality of each celebration.
