I’m Txema Mendiri, a wedding photographer based in Pasaia and professionally active across Gipuzkoa. My work focuses on telling the story of your day with an honest, documentary eye: I look for spontaneous emotions, authentic gestures and the small details that turn moments into lasting memories. My approach to wedding photography prioritizes naturalness. I use available light whenever possible and seek everyday or natural settings that bring warmth and truth to the images. This way of working comes from my experience photographing families, expectant mothers and newborns: I know how to create a relaxed atmosphere, respect individual rhythms and make people (and children) feel comfortable in front of the camera. That calm, close presence shows in wedding reports, where intimacy and ease allow for sincere moments to be captured. Before the wedding we talk in detail: I listen to your ideas, we plan the key moments and I offer options to adapt the coverage to what you want to keep. I work with full coverage — preparations, ceremony, couple session, reception and pre- or post-wedding shoots — as well as more focused packages (ceremony only, ceremony + couple session, independent couple session). My goal is that the final result reflects your personality and becomes an album full of life. On the wedding day I blend in discreetly; my aim is to be unobtrusive while staying alert to capture expressions, glances and encounters. My experience lets me adapt to different environments and schedules, from church or civil ceremonies to celebrations set in nature or urban venues in Donosti (San Sebastián), Errenteria, Irun or Zarautz.
