Gaizka Corta Fotografía

I am Gaizka Corta, a wedding photographer based in Pasaia with a sensibility shaped in Donostia. My work starts from a curiosity for small things: a look, a touch, a gesture that defines a story. This focus on the everyday allows me to tell weddings honestly, without artifices, always seeking color, emotion and the unique character of each couple. I consider myself a storyteller: I arrive intent on capturing moments and turning them into images that bring back feelings. I personally attend the weddings I photograph and, for full wedding reports, I work with a second photographer to ensure visual coherence and discreet coverage of the day. I pay less attention to the clock than to the story itself: I accompany you from preparations through to the most spontaneous moments of the celebration, adapting whether the wedding is intimate or unconventional. My style favors naturalness and the beauty of the real. I aim to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera; my approach is conversational and close, designed to build trust. I travel and draw inspiration from the world, and that experience feeds a point of view capable of understanding contexts, light and traditions — ideal for weddings in Pasaia, San Sebastián and nearby areas, but also for destinations outside Spain. Alongside documentary and artistic photography, I integrate resources such as aerial images and video when regulations and weather allow. I am registered as an operator with AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety Agency), so drone photography is a tool I use with narrative purpose, never as an end in itself.
