I’m Olena, the person behind SO LOUD SILENCE photography, and I dedicate myself passionately to wedding photography in Santurtzi and across Bizkaia. I believe every wedding is a unique story: I don’t seek forced poses but authentic moments that reflect the emotion, connection and truth of your day. My style is grounded in a sensitive, documentary approach; I prefer to be discreet, observe and capture the instants that will let you relive that day again and again. My path to photography passed through philology, teaching, painting and travel — but it was when I picked up a camera that I found my vocation. That blend of love for people and artistic training shapes how I see and tell a wedding: with respect, attention to detail and a special care for light and expression. I’ve worked extensively with families and children; that experience has taught me to stay calm, to improvise and to connect easily with people, all essential for portraying celebrations naturally. I work in a close, personalized way: before the big day we talk and plan to understand your vision, tastes and priorities. During the wedding I act with discretion so you can be fully present; my goal is to document the ceremony, gestures, laughter and looks without interfering. I adapt to intimate ceremonies and large celebrations; I also offer pre-wedding (lovestory/pre-wedding) sessions that help you relax in front of the camera and create images with calm and complicity. I provide a professional delivery of high-resolution images and a private online gallery to share with family and friends. I’m based in Santurtzi and my working studio is in Getxo (Las Arenas), where you can visit to meet me and view examples of past wedding reports. I attend clients in Spanish, English and Ukrainian, and I’m available to work throughout the Basque Country and beyond by arrangement.
