I’m Aitor Juaristi and at A.F. estudioa I photograph weddings from the perspective of a narrator: a gathering of stories, spontaneous emotions and attention to every detail. My specialty is wedding photography; I consider myself a wedding photographer in Zarautz and across the Basque Country, committed to capturing the authenticity of each couple and their day. How I work: I prepare each wedding together with you, listening to your ideas and organising the schedule so the day flows naturally. The pre-wedding (engagement) session is, for me, a first meeting and the best way to get to know each other—many couples also use those images for table decoration or invitations. On the wedding day I will normally be your principal photographer, integrating into the environment and acting with discretion and professionalism; when the reportage requires it, I work with a colleague to guarantee coverage of the key moments. I come from analogue photography and that darkroom training still informs the way I look: a care for process, for thoughtful editing and for delivering images that endure the passage of time.
