I’m Acoidán Rodríguez, a wedding photographer based in Arucas (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). My passion is to tell love stories through images that convey emotion, naturalness and a timeless quality. I believe in the beauty of the authentic: those small gestures, glances and details that together form the living memory of your day. My approach is above all documentary and human. I consider myself an observer: I aim to be present without interfering, always looking for the light and the moment that allow emotions to appear as they truly are. I work so that the photographs are not only beautiful, but authentic and capable of reviving sensations years from now. This way of understanding photography also comes from my own personal experience —it was after living my own wedding with my partner Rachel that I knew I wanted to dedicate my work to capturing love. How do I work? We start with a conversation: I want to know your story, your wishes and the personality of your wedding. That initial connection helps create an atmosphere of trust in which images can flow naturally. On the day I try to blend in when the situation requires it and act with discretion and closeness during portraits and directed moments. After the event, I take care of the editing to preserve aesthetic consistency and the emotional tone of each image, delivering your memories in a careful and professional manner. I define myself as a specialist in wedding photography in Arucas and across Gran Canaria, and I’m available to travel when your story requires it. I also offer one-to-one coaching as a complement for those who want to improve their photographic skills under my practical, personalized method, although my main dedication remains wedding reportage.
