I’m Mona Lisa, a photographer and visual storyteller based in Candelaria, Tenerife. As a wedding photographer I focus on creating photo stories that go beyond pretty images: I look for the truth of each couple, the connection and the fleeting moments that later fill albums with life. My work begins with attentive listening: understanding what moves you, which moments you want to remember and how you feel most yourselves. My approach blends documentary sensitivity with an artistic aesthetic. I favour natural moments over forced poses, and I aim to create a calm atmosphere where authentic gestures can emerge. Before the wedding day I like to meet you, visit the venue when possible, and discuss your expectations so the shoot feels relaxed and fluid. That prior trust allows the photographs to be not only beautiful, but sincere and soulful. I work with natural light whenever the story calls for it and adapt my vision to each setting: black-sand beaches, volcanic cliffs or intimate indoor spaces across Candelaria and Tenerife. I also accompany couples to weddings outside Spain: I understand the logistics and pace required for destination celebrations, always preserving the aesthetic and emotional coherence of the reportage. Beyond documenting the day as a whole — preparations, ceremony, stolen glances, celebration and portraits — I bring portrait photography experience to craft intimate images that endure.
