I’m David Blas, a professional photographer based in Fuerteventura with roots in Madrid and a clear vocation: to tell wedding stories through emotion and authenticity. I specialize in documentary-style wedding photography — working unobtrusively to capture real moments, glances and details that often go unnoticed in the whirlwind of the day. My aim is that, when you look at the photos, you relive the feelings, not just see images. My approach combines the sensitivity of portraiture with a cinematic, narrative eye: I seek the right light, compositions that respect the surroundings, and the naturalness of people. Over the years I’ve developed a fresh, elegant aesthetic that favors real scenes over forced poses, because I believe the best photos show who you truly are. How do I work? Before the wedding day I usually talk with you to learn your story, the day’s schedule and your priorities. That dialogue allows me to adapt: I intervene only when necessary, travel around the island, and accompany you discreetly as I document ceremonies, preparations, emotions and details. The result is a coherent gallery that tells the story of the day from a close, personal perspective. Although wedding photography is my main specialty, my experience in portrait and product photography also influences my wedding work: careful lighting, meticulous attention to detail and an editing style that enhances atmosphere while preserving naturalness.
