I’m Rafa Dálvez, a wedding photographer based in Santa Brígida (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). My work springs from a passion for documentary photography and an obsession with light and the gaze. For me, every wedding is a unique story that deserves to be told naturally: I look for those fleeting moments — glances, laughter, small tears — and turn them into images that bring back the emotion of the day. I define my approach as a fusion of two styles: the honesty of documentary reportage and the refined aesthetics of fashion photography. This combination lets me stay attentive to what happens spontaneously, without forcing anything, while also proposing beautiful, elegant compositions when the moment calls for it.
