I try to be unobtrusive when necessary—to capture the naturalness of the ceremony and guests—and direct when it’s time for portraits or couple photos, guiding calmly and warmly so the result feels relaxed and real. Black and white is a language I love; it’s where light and shadow tell different stories, and I often use it to emphasize emotion and structure in many of my images. Before the wedding I like to meet you: a pre-wedding (engagement / couple session) is a perfect chance to break the ice and see how easy it is to be in front of the camera without nerves.
