I’m Cristina Marrodán, a wedding photographer based in Burgos. My approach is to tell your story exactly as it happens: with naturalness, emotion and respect for the small moments that make each day unique. I believe photography is a living memory — images that years from now bring back the looks, embraces and atmosphere of the day. My style blends the romantic and the documentary: I seek elegance in spontaneity. I prefer to remain close but discreet, capturing authentic gestures — hands intertwined, a furtive tear, a shared laugh — without imposing forced poses. Details are my weakness: fabrics, flowers, light, and above all the knowing glances that speak without words. I work from a place of closeness. Before the big day I like to get to know you: share a cup of tea or chat by video call to understand your tastes, nerves and priorities. That prior connection builds trust and calm, allowing the reportage to flow naturally. For many couples I also offer an engagement session (pre-wedding) — an intimate shoot to lose shyness, practice looks and create ease for the wedding day. My working method is straightforward and professional. I immerse myself in each event with sensitivity and organisation: I observe, anticipate emotional moments and capture the narrative of the day without interrupting it. The result is clean, elegant images with emotional depth that you can hold in carefully crafted albums or print to preserve those memories tangibly. Although I’m based in Burgos, I travel wherever you choose to celebrate your wedding. I dedicate myself exclusively to wedding photography and regularly collaborate with videographers and local suppliers so the whole production feels coherent and relaxed.
