Like a whisper

Hello, I’m Sergio, the person behind Like a whisper, and I’ve been dedicated to wedding photography from Valladolid/Laguna de Duero. My work springs from a search for naturalness: I’m interested in photographing what happens between you — the looks, the small caresses and the gestures that turn a day into a unique story. “Sensitivity and naturalness, the essence of my work” is not just a phrase: it’s the guiding principle of every wedding reportage I create. I position myself as a specialist in wedding photography. My approach is documentary and at the same time delicate: I try to remain unobtrusive when necessary to capture spontaneous moments, and when the occasion calls for it, I provide gentle directions that help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I work with couples who want fresh, elegant and emotional images, without forced poses, and I highly value the trust that grows from a close, friendly relationship. A key part of how I work is the engagement session (pre-wedding). It’s the space where we get to know one another, where I’ll show you how I shoot and where any initial awkwardness fades away. Many couples tell me afterward that this session was essential to relax on the wedding day: by becoming familiar with my rhythm and how I guide, the photos flow much more naturally. I live near Laguna de Duero and Valladolid, but I travel enthusiastically across Spain: every landscape, village and ceremony brings a different light and a new story that inspires me. I love using the environment — woods, mountains, golden sunsets — to build images with atmosphere, while never losing sight of what really matters: you.
