I’m Javi Sahagún and I dedicate myself to making your wedding an intimate, honest archive: photographs that remind you of who you are together. As a wedding photographer based in Miranda de Ebro I work from closeness and observation — my goal is for the images to speak for themselves and convey the real emotion of the day. My style is natural and documentary: I seek spontaneity, small gestures, and the looks that exist for only an instant. I don’t chase forced poses; I prefer to be attentive to what’s happening and capture it discreetly. This way of working comes from what moves me: I like people, I want to know what makes them smile and what moves them. Becoming a father also taught me to value everyday scenes that, when turned into photos, become treasures. How do I work with you? Before the wedding we meet: a conversation or a pre-wedding session breaks the ice and helps me understand who you are. On the day of the event I foster a calm, friendly atmosphere; I’m part of the day without interrupting it. I photograph the key moments, but above all I capture what happens between them: the unexpected laugh, the complicity with guests, the details that tell the story. Afterwards I carefully edit the images so the result maintains naturalness and emotional strength. I regularly work in Miranda de Ebro and accompany weddings across Burgos, La Rioja and Álava.
