I’m Teresa Perdiguero, a wedding photographer with more than twenty years dedicated to telling stories through images. My work focuses on narrative photography: I seek to capture real emotions, unexpected moments and the unique atmosphere of each wedding. For me, opening your eyes is not enough; you must look with your heart to achieve a true image. My approach combines the best of portrait, documentary wedding photography and the sensitivity of commercial photography I developed during my professional stage in Santiago de Chile, where I refined composition and lighting. At a wedding there is no repetition: you need to be fully present and observant to avoid missing the magic of the moment. That’s why I engage with the day, watch discreetly and shoot when the moments arise that tell the story of your celebration. I work mainly in Segovia, Madrid, Toledo and Ávila, and I travel elsewhere in Spain if you like my style. I offer complete wedding reportages in which I deliver every photograph retouched, one by one, in high quality (JPG) and in a convenient format (USB). For the album I personally select the best 80–100 images in 4:3 format: I believe an album must have rhythm and tell your story, and I dedicate time and care to that part of the process. For the couple session I use an efficient and relaxed method: I need only about 15 minutes to obtain natural, emotive images without making the couple miss the cocktail hour. My aim is that you, your families and guests feel comfortable with me; trust is key to creating photographs with soul. If you’d like small, fun details for guests, I can take Polaroids at the end of the dance for the guest book or as instant keepsakes. I can also coordinate with trusted videographers if you want video alongside photography.
