Concha Ortega, wedding photographer in Soria, creates author-style wedding reportage that captures real, spontaneous emotions. She offers engagement and post-wedding sessions, albums, and professional digital delivery.
I’m Concha Ortega and my work as a wedding photographer in Soria focuses on author-style reportage: telling your story with light, sensitivity and respect for intimate moments. After years in photojournalism and as a graphic reporter for El Heraldo de Soria, I learned to observe calmly and remain unobtrusive when the situation requires it. That journalistic eye, combined with an artistic sensibility, is what I bring to every wedding to achieve authentic and distinctive images. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? Because I value spontaneity: I look for real emotions, knowing glances and scenes that won’t repeat. I avoid forced poses and prefer to observe and anticipate what will happen so I can capture it naturally. I bring technical experience to handle the most demanding moments (ceremony, rings, rice, first dances) and an aesthetic concern to deliver a coherent reportage with visual impact. My working method is designed so you feel comfortable and relaxed. I usually start at the bride’s home before the ceremony to document preparations and small details (dress, rings, bouquet). If you wish, another collaborator can cover the groom simultaneously. After the ceremony we do the planned couple photos so we don’t take time from the cocktail, and I document the rest of the day from a close but discreet position. I offer engagement sessions (ideal to get to know each other and to obtain photos for the guest book) and post-wedding sessions (a more relaxed, creative shoot after the honeymoon). I deliver the full reportage in digital format on a USB drive with all images fully processed in high quality; I also prepare an initial slideshow selection to preview the day’s highlights. For those who want it, I design and produce high-quality albums and photo books: I carefully arrange the images so the album becomes a clear and emotional narrative. My work is also nourished by continuous training and experience in workshops with leading photographers, and by recognitions such as the COSSIO Press Photography Award. More than taking pictures, I’m passionate about telling stories: if you want original wedding photos with an author’s perspective, created with closeness and respect, I’d be delighted to hear your story and discuss how to reflect it in images.
