I'm David, a wedding photographer based in Ciudad Real, and my work stems from a simple premise: I'm not interested in photography for its own sake, but in life itself. I focus on photographing what really happens — that knowing glance, an unexpected hug, a smile that appears without a script — because those are the moments that turn an album into a memory that still moves you years later. My specialty is wedding reportage. I work through observation and discretion, adopting a close, involved stance: I engage “as if it were your wedding.” That closeness allows me to be unobtrusive when needed and step forward decisively when the moment calls for it. My style is inspired by cinema: compositions that tell stories, light that caresses, and a cinematic eye that transforms natural moments into images that read like frames from your own story. The process begins with a conversation. Before the day I seek to understand who you are, what matters to you, and how you feel most comfortable. On the wedding day I act on intuition: no forced poses, no interruptions. I like couples to forget the camera; that’s when the scenes worth freezing in time actually happen. I deliver visual stories designed to relive the emotion of the day, not just a collection of pretty photos. While my main focus is comprehensive wedding coverage, I also offer pre-wedding (engagement) sessions when couples want them — these help build trust and produce natural images before the big day.
