Preserving emotions and rescuing moments: that is how I describe my way of working. I’m Yadira Ixta, a social photographer specializing in wedding photography based in Guadalajara. For more than ten years I have traveled, observed nature and sunsets, and used those inspirations to tell unique stories through images. My aim in every wedding reportage is to capture real emotion, those small details and fleeting glances that turn a day into a lasting memory. I work with discretion and closeness: I blend into the day as another storyteller, seeking those spontaneous moments that won’t happen again. I like to create a relaxed, fun, and natural atmosphere so couples feel comfortable and the camera becomes a gentle witness to their celebration. My process begins with a conversation: we talk about your ideas, review locations and shape a plan for the day. Before the ceremony I usually propose an engagement or pre-wedding session to break the ice and create calm couple images; on the wedding day I document the ceremony, intimate moments and the party with documentary sensitivity and a detailed eye. At the end I deliver a carefully edited reportage that reflects the full narrative of the event. In addition to weddings, I occasionally offer family and maternity sessions, keeping the same sensitivity for detail and naturalness. Nevertheless, my primary focus and experience remain in wedding photography: wedding reportage, wedding images and full-day coverage are my specialties.
