I love telling stories — that is why I am a wedding photographer. I’m Hilario Sánchez, based in Seseña, and I dedicate myself to narrating your wedding day as an observer: without influencing, without forcing anything. My aim is for wedding photos to preserve the truth of each gesture, glance and moment, so your memories remain honest and beautiful. My style sits between documentary photography and a carefully considered aesthetic: I seek simplicity and avoid anything overworked or artificially posed. I prefer naturalness and spontaneity; that is why I move away from scripts and look for authentic scenes. I feel especially happy working in natural settings — woods, beaches, rural estates — although I also enjoy capturing urban and industrial weddings. What matters most to me is the story that unfolds, not the specific backdrop. How I work: before the day we talk calmly to get to know each other and understand how you will celebrate. If you wish, we can do a pre-wedding/engagement session to become familiar with the camera and capture relaxed moments that will translate into greater confidence on the wedding day. On the day itself I usually move discreetly, observing and capturing without interrupting. After the event I carefully select and edit images to deliver a coherent, emotive wedding report.
