I’m Ana Villamuelas and I have been photographing weddings in Toledo since 2015. Trained in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, my approach starts from narrative: I’m interested in telling your story as it happens. My work is defined by a very natural, documentary style—90% of my wedding reports are documentary—because I believe the best photos come from spontaneity and real emotions, not from forced posing. Depending on the day I seek the light that enhances each scene and the composition that will make that memory last. I also take care of the editing with a coherent aesthetic that respects the essence of each couple. How do I work? We start with a conversation to understand your plans and priorities. If you’d like, we do an engagement (pre-wedding) session; on the wedding day I follow a flexible plan, prioritise documentary coverage and, when appropriate, I create portraits that make you feel comfortable. After the wedding I deliver the edited reportage with the attention and care that characterise my work.
