I am José Luis Corrales, a wedding photographer based in Torrijos and specialized in wedding reportage across Toledo. After more than 25 years behind the camera, I still believe the best part of this profession is telling stories: I photograph feelings and emotions to leave you a legacy of authentic, lively images. My approach is clear: documentary wedding photography. I work from discretion and observation to capture moments that cannot be repeated — knowing glances, unexpected laughter, sincere embraces. My philosophy is that the best photographs are born when people forget the camera; for that reason I avoid forced poses and artificial directions. I adapt to the light and rhythm of the day so every image reflects the reality of the moment. Light is my guiding thread. I love working with natural light and, when appropriate, introducing subtle artificial lighting to shape the scene and enhance the emotion. That sensitivity to light combines with experience: anticipating moments, being in the right place at the right time, and keeping calm when everything happens very quickly. How I work: we begin with a conversation to get to know each other and understand what you want to remember. If you wish, I offer an engagement (pre-wedding) session to build trust and prepare for the main coverage; that day helps us scout locations, test light and relax in front of the camera. On the wedding day I act as another storyteller: attentive, respectful and always looking for the small stories that appear among the big moments. Although my specialty is weddings, I also offer complementary sessions such as engagement shoots and intimate portraits that help complete your story. I travel from Torrijos across the province of Toledo and beyond — I have a strong vocation for traveling and documenting weddings wherever I can tell the story as it happens.
