I’m Sergi Maneja, a wedding photographer based in Calella (Barcelona). My work focuses on documenting your day from within: I don’t chase forced poses but real moments, glances, gestures and emotions that together tell the authentic story of your wedding. My specialty is storytelling wedding photography —a reportage that breathes naturalness and lets you remember the intensity of the day exactly as it was. Why choose me? I have experience covering local celebrations and destination weddings, and I love travelling to learn new customs and connect with couples from different cultures. My aim is to be unobtrusive when needed and present when emotion arises: that’s how I capture spontaneous, sincere images that won’t feel artificial over time. My working approach is built on closeness and trust. I believe it’s essential to get to know each other before the wedding day, so I recommend an engagement session (pre-wedding shoot): it’s a chance to see how I shoot, relax in front of the camera and make me a familiar presence on your wedding day —more of a friend than an intruder. On the wedding day I adapt to the event’s pace, respecting your celebration so the photos genuinely reflect what you experienced. Style and proposal: my photography blends documentary wedding photography with contemporary compositional touches. I look for light, emotion and storytelling in every frame; I care about human detail as much as the big moment. The result is wedding photos that function as visual memory: albums and galleries that invite you to relive laughs, hugs and looks years later.
