I’m Mònica Vidal and, as Mon Amour, I devote myself passionately to wedding photography in el Baix Guinardó and Barcelona. My work is natural, warm and joyful: I aim for each couple to recognise themselves in the images and to relive the emotions of the day when they look back at them. I love creating wedding reportage where laughter and sincere glances take centre stage, without stiff poses or artifices. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? I work discreetly: I blend with the guests to photograph the party from within, always making sure my presence doesn’t interfere with the important moments. At the same time, I know how to create relaxed situations to achieve authentic portraits, even for those who feel shy in front of a camera. We will laugh — I promise — and that shows in the photos. My approach: spontaneous, luminous reportage. I prefer to capture real moments rather than posed shots, which allows me to deliver images that truly belong to you. I offer an engagement session as a way for us to get to know each other and lose the fear of the camera; a post-wedding session to make the most of the dress or suit and create more creative images; and specific features such as Bride’s & Groom’s Look to immortalise fittings and outfit details. I work in a close and organised way: before the wedding we’ll talk by video call or meet for a coffee to understand what you want and plan the day. The goal is for you to enjoy every moment while I collect the memories that will move you when you review them later. I deliver an online gallery with edited high-resolution photos in a timely manner, ready to share with family and friends. Additionally, if you’d like video to complement the photos, I collaborate regularly with a videographer to offer cinematic edits that accompany the photographic reportage.
