I’m Ariadna Ballestar and my vocation is to be the keeper of your most important memories. Based in La Bordeta (Barcelona), I work as a wedding photographer specializing in reportage-style weddings that prioritize authentic emotion and the story of the day over forced poses. My goal is not simply to take pretty photos: it’s to return to you the feelings, the looks, and the atmosphere exactly as you experienced them. My approach blends artistic sensitivity with a natural aesthetic. I combine documentary photography with gentle direction: I stay alert to spontaneous moments—the unexpected laughs, the knowing silences—and I also guide when moments deserve a little extra care. I believe in light as a guiding thread and composition as a way to tell stories, so every wedding reportage I create aims to be coherent, intimate, and full of meaning. I like to work hand in hand with couples: from the first conversation I strive to inspire trust and closeness. Before the big day I coordinate essential details—locations, timing, and style—and, if you wish, we can do an engagement (pre-wedding) session to get to know each other and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. During the wedding I move discreetly to capture the essence of the event and the genuine connections between people. Editing is a fundamental part of my work: I consider it half the magic, and I carefully refine each image until it conveys the atmosphere and feeling that represent you. In addition to the digital gallery, I offer options to preserve your memories in print: bespoke albums, fine art prints, and presentations that enhance your wedding reportage. I work with couples of all orientations and I firmly believe that “love is love.” I’m also available to travel outside Barcelona when your wedding requires it.
