I’m Samu Schimansky and at Samu Schimansky Media I do one thing I’m passionate about: telling weddings with images that bring the day back to you exactly as you experienced it. As a wedding photographer in Terrassa I work from a place of closeness; I prefer to observe discreetly so that you remain the protagonists and the images flow naturally, honestly and without forced poses. My approach is documentary and emotional: I look for complicity, glances, small gestures and the unexpected moments that make a wedding reportage unique. No two weddings are the same and that is precisely what I love: each celebration inspires me to find its own visual narrative, caring for light, composition and the silences as much as the party and joy. How I work: before the wedding I like to meet you, understand your story and talk about what matters to you. On the day I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible — so everything unfolds naturally — while staying attentive to every detail so nothing is lost. Afterwards, all material is carefully selected and edited so the reportage faithfully reflects the atmosphere of the day. Although my specialty is wedding photography, I can also accompany you for pre-wedding/engagement sessions so you have a keepsake beforehand and we get to know each other before the big day. I also occasionally take on family photography, maternity sessions and video work; I always prioritise quality and coherence with my documentary style.
