I’m Laura Chacón and I have been photographing weddings since 2010. My work focuses on wedding photography: I tell real stories with a natural, elegant and emotional approach that prioritizes the experience of the day over posed portraits. I work mainly in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Sitges and Barcelona, and I specialize in destination weddings and celebrations in masías and venues with character. My approach as a wedding photographer is discreet and documentary. I like to observe, anticipate gestures and capture the small moments that truly define a wedding: glances, laughter, the nerves before the ceremony or those quiet instants between the bustle. I avoid interrupting what you are living; my goal is that the images let you relive the emotions exactly as they happened. Sensitivity to natural light, attention to detail and timeless composition are the hallmarks of my work. How I work with couples: we start with a conversation to get to know one another and understand the kind of reportage you want. During preparation I offer close support and practical recommendations so everything flows naturally; if needed I coordinate with other vendors and adapt to the venue’s dynamics. On the wedding day my presence is professional and unobtrusive: I capture what matters without forcing poses, always prioritizing visual storytelling. I’ve had the privilege of accompanying both local and international couples who choose to celebrate their weddings in Catalonia, from intimate ceremonies to full weekend celebrations in masías. That experience has taught me to work calmly, manage the day’s rhythm and adapt to different cultures and languages — communicating with couples in English is fully integrated into my service. In addition to weddings, I offer family photography sessions, maternity and newborn shoots at my studio in Vilanova i la Geltrú or on location around Sitges and its surroundings. These sessions complement your family story, though my main focus and specialty remain wedding reportage.
