I’m Estrella Díaz and since 2013 I have been photographing weddings with an honest, highly personal approach. My work focuses on wedding reportage: I aim to capture real emotion, those small, fleeting gestures that with time become treasures. I work with empathy and quiet observation to blend my vision with the rhythm of the day: I remain unnoticed when I need to be invisible and move closer when intimacy arises. My priority is for you to feel free and calm in front of the camera so the images reflect who you are now—and who you’ll be in thirty years. My approach combines aesthetic sensitivity with experience: I care for light, composition and those decisive instants, but above all I respect the truth of the moment. I’m driven by a nostalgia for images—I’m a true fan of photography’s ability to evoke—and I believe the best tribute to a love story is an authentic wedding report that preserves its essence over time. How do I work with couples? Before the big day we talk, I get to know your priorities and give simple, practical guidance so you feel comfortable. On the wedding day I adapt to the pace of events and prioritise spontaneity; afterwards I carefully select and edit each image to deliver a coherent, emotionally resonant gallery. I also offer engagement (pre-wedding) sessions so you can get used to my eye and have meaningful memories ahead of the main event. I’m based in Mérida and regularly work in Badajoz, Seville and other towns across Extremadura and Andalusia.
