Wedding photographer in Arteixo specializing in natural, emotional reportage. I capture unique moments with real light, closeness and respect for your story.
I’m David de Benito, a wedding photographer based in Arteixo with a clear dedication to wedding reportage. I specialize in photographing what builds a day: the looks, the laughs, the silences full of meaning. For me, a good photo is not just a pretty image—it's a door that brings you back to the moment every time you look at it. My approach is grounded in naturalness and light. I love working with available light — sunrises and sunsets are my favourite times — and with settings that speak of who you are: the coast, a field, a church or a pazo (a traditional Galician manor). Traveling and discovering places has shaped much of my vision, but always with the same objective: that the photos convey the day’s authenticity and the joy of the people living it. Why choose a reportage with me? Because I combine a documentary eye with a sensitivity for portraiture. My work aims to be discreet when observation is required and close when direction is needed. Couples often appreciate that I’m approachable, that I bring calm in nervous moments and that I care for details so the memory is faithful and complete. I deliver a thoughtful, heartfelt body of work designed to be relived with emotion. I work in a close and transparent way: before the big day we talk about your story, the moments you want to remember and the priorities for the coverage. If you’d like, we can do a couples session (engagement/pre-wedding) to break the ice and make the wedding day feel more natural in front of the camera — this is an optional complement to my principal role as a wedding photographer. On the wedding day I adapt, observe and shoot to tell the story as it unfolds. If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Arteixo and Galicia who prioritises emotion, light and authenticity, I would be delighted to hear about your plans. Contact me to tell me about your day and check availability. Wherever there is light, there is something to photograph: my commitment is that these images will accompany you always.
