I’m Anxo Resúa, the eye behind A Fiestra, and my work focuses on documentary wedding photography. Based in Boiro, I tell real stories: coastal weddings, celebrations in pazos (Galician manor houses), or small intimate ceremonies set within Galicia’s nature. My aim isn’t to stage moments but to observe them and let them speak for themselves, so each wedding reportage becomes an honest, recognisable narrative. My specialty as a wedding photographer is capturing the truest possible naturalness. I work with a restrained, sensitive aesthetic: ambient light, compositions that respect the surroundings, and discreet decisions so as not to interrupt your day. This approach produces wedding photographs that recover sensations — a guest’s laughter, a private gesture between you, light filtered through leaves — images that endure over time.
