I’m Iván Garmén, the person behind Producciones Iván. For more than a decade I have been dedicated to telling wedding stories through photography and video. My work as a wedding photographer in Lugo is based on a simple idea: life is made of unique, unrepeatable moments, and my mission is to capture them with creativity, professionalism and care so you can relive them forever. I specialize in wedding reportage (wedding photography) and in recording wedding video, blending a documentary approach with creative techniques to achieve natural images full of soul. I work looking for spontaneity: I capture gestures, glances and details that aren’t always noticed in the moment but that define the emotion of the day. I also offer engagement (pre-wedding) sessions so the couple can relax in front of the camera and together we build a visual style that will carry over into the wedding photography and video. My process is close and collaborative: before the day we meet to learn your story, expectations and venues; during the wedding I remain discreet but attentive, intervening only when necessary to create beautiful images; afterwards I edit carefully and deliver the material in thoughtful formats (edited photographs, designed albums and a highlight video).
