I am Carolina Mendes, a wedding photographer based in Oleiros (A Coruña) with a passion for telling stories with sensitivity and naturalness. Born in Paris and raised among family albums, that love for images and preserving everyday life led me to specialise in wedding reportage that honours the truth of the day: laughter, hugs, stolen glances and moments that won’t repeat. My work seeks emotion, never artifice. My approach is documentary and cinematic: I avoid rigid posing and prefer to blend in with guests to capture genuine instants. I believe the best photos happen when couples forget the camera and simply live their day; that’s when I move discreetly to find the light, the composition and the narrative that will turn those seconds into images that move you. I also care for the artistic direction so everything has visual coherence — from location choices to the tonal palette. I work with a limited number of couples each year — never more than ten — because I want to provide a close, personalised service and a calm experience. Before the wedding we connect in person or by video call: you tell me your story and references, and I prepare a moodboard to align expectations and design the coverage. On the day I adapt, accompany and guarantee professionalism without taking the spotlight. After the event you will receive a private gallery with all selected and edited images: I always deliver the number needed to tell your story, never fewer than 500 photos, available for download and sharing. I pride myself on giving clients a thoughtful, complete wedding photography experience, from consultation to final delivery. Although I am based in Oleiros, I love to travel and will go wherever you choose to celebrate.
