I’m Xulio Pazo and my work as a wedding photographer in Ourense comes from a passion for telling honest stories. My approach is simple: photograph without forcing, respect the pace of the day and let emotions arise naturally. I believe in a discreet, authentic style; I like to stay unobtrusive to capture looks, gestures and details that are only fully appreciated when the images are revisited later. Natural light and composition are my favorite tools. I look for beauty in the everyday and in unexpected moments, and I always aim for each photograph to work both as a memory and as a small visual piece. For me, a good wedding reportage is not just the sum of pretty images: it’s an honest record of who you were that day, with all the laughter, nerves and embraces that made it unique. I work in a calm, close way. Before the wedding I like to meet you —without rigid scripts— to understand who you are and which moments you value most. On the day I keep an attentive but respectful presence: I’ll guide when necessary, but above all I observe. I offer complementary sessions such as engagement or post-wedding shoots so you feel comfortable in front of the camera and we can create more relaxed, personal images. Although my specialty is wedding photography, I also work with families and couples, always with the same sensitivity and care for composition and light.
