Hello, I’m David — The Outsider — and my work is to tell love stories through wedding photography. Based in Poio (Galicia), I specialize in documentary, natural and timeless wedding reportage: an approach that preserves the truth of the moments, never staged, always felt. Why choose my perspective? I see a wedding as a collection of small instants that, joined together, form the memory of a life. After more than 15 years sharing a passion for photography, I’ve refined a storyteller aesthetic: discreet, intimate and elegant, prioritizing real emotion over forced poses. My aim is that when you look at the photos years from now, you feel again what you lived. My approach is deeply human. Before the wedding I like to meet you, listen to your story and understand what matters most. On the day I work almost invisibly: I observe, move naturally and seek the light and the genuine gesture. The result is sincere images with careful composition and a timeless treatment that endures. I work across Galicia and throughout Spain, but my roots are in Poio, where I find many of the visual and emotional references that inspire me. I collaborate with couples who value sensitivity, honesty and a photographic narrative that respects the rhythm of the day. In addition to weddings, I occasionally shoot portrait sessions as a complement to my wedding work: short sessions for couples or families who want the same warmth and honesty in their personal photography. Still, my primary focus and experience remain in wedding coverage.
