My name is Joaquín Mayayo and I describe myself as a photographer of emotions. My specialty is wedding photography: I aim to tell your story with natural, fresh and modern images, avoiding forced poses. I work as if I weren’t there so you can fully enjoy the day; my goal is to capture those sincere moments — a laugh, a look, a tear — that later become unforgettable memories. I believe in documentary wedding photography: I observe, anticipate, and shoot at the moments when emotion shows itself honestly. This way of working allows me to be discreet and respectful with the couple and their guests, achieving spontaneous, life-filled images. I also only shoot one wedding per day, which lets me offer you my full attention and dedication from preparations to the party. My process is simple and personal. Before the wedding I usually talk with you to learn the day's plan and, if you’d like, we do an engagement (pre-wedding) session to break the ice and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day I arrive with professional gear and a calm approach: I adapt to the pace of the celebration and look for the corners and light that best tell your story. Afterwards, I take care of the meticulous editing to deliver high-quality images that reflect the atmosphere and emotion of the day. I live in Logroño and love working across La Rioja, although I’m happy to travel throughout Spain or abroad when your wedding requires it.
