I’m Sofía Royo, a photographer trained in Audiovisual Communication and holder of a Higher Technical Diploma in Artistic Photography, based in Aravaca. My approach to wedding photography starts from a simple idea: to document with sensitivity. I’m more interested in telling what truly happens than imposing poses; for that reason my style blends careful portraiture with a documentary approach to capture both spontaneous emotion and the details that shape the day. I work closely with couples from the first conversation to understand their story and the atmosphere they want. I offer engagement sessions to build confidence in front of the camera and to define the visual language of the reportage. On the wedding day I move discreetly, looking for those sincere moments — glances, laughter, gestures — that turn images into tangible memories. My aim is that each album speaks about you, preserving the naturalness and the luminous quality I always try to highlight in people. My experience and training allow me to handle everything from intimate moments to high-energy scenes with consistent aesthetic coherence. I understand wedding photography as a collaborative process: I listen, I propose, and I adapt my vision so the result reflects the couple’s personality. Although my specialty is weddings and portraits, I also do family photography and corporate event coverage as a complement to my main work.
