I’m Luis Pizarro, a wedding photographer based in Castilla with a focus on natural and timeless imagery. My work doesn’t try to stage emotion: it observes, accompanies and transforms it into photographs that endure. I believe the best wedding photography is born from human connection; that’s why my approach starts with getting to know you, understanding your story and creating a relaxed atmosphere where everything flows with authenticity. My style blends documentary storytelling with an editorial aesthetic: I capture the spontaneity of the moments — genuine smiles, held-back tears, hands reaching for one another — and, when appropriate, I suggest intentional portraits that respect the truth of the moment. I work with natural light whenever possible, and I like to add textures and an analogue sensitivity when the story calls for it. The result is elegant, contemporary images with a timeless character that bring you back to the feelings of that day whenever you look through the gallery. How I work: we start with a conversation. I like to meet, share a coffee, and listen to what moves you and what concerns you. That initial dialogue sets the pace for the reportage; adapting to your wishes and needs, I prepare the day to intervene only when necessary and let the authentic moments happen. During the wedding I move with discretion and closeness: I follow the celebration, anticipate small scenes and care for the details — the flowers, the tableware, a letter, a look — that build your visual memory. Although my specialty is full wedding reportage, I also offer engagement and pre-wedding sessions as a complement so you feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. I work primarily in Castilla but I travel across Spain; I have bases in several cities and enjoy traveling to document weddings at estates, churches and unique venues.
