I’m Miguel Onieva, a professional wedding photographer based in Entrevías. My approach treats wedding photography as a story: a documentary and creative reportage aimed at capturing real emotions, sincere gestures and the unique moments that make up your story. I create images with soul, where the protagonists are not posed portraits but your authentic emotions. My style is predominantly documentary (around 90%), resorting to staged shots only when truly necessary (10%). This balance allows me to deliver natural wedding photos with personality, free from forced poses and clichés. I work with full dedication and a craftsperson’s care: I look after every stage of the reportage, from the engagement session to the final album. Trust and closeness are the foundation of my method. Before the big day I usually propose an engagement (pre-wedding / “save the date”) session so you can get comfortable in front of the camera and we can build the ease that makes the best images possible. On the wedding day I will be exclusively with you: I photograph only one wedding per day so I can give the time and attention required. The reportage I offer includes both partners’ preparations, the ceremony, couple portraits, cocktail hour, group photos, the start and close of the reception, the first dance and at least the first hour of the party. You can also complement your reportage with optional services I commonly offer: engagement and post-wedding sessions, second photographer, albums, parent copies, photocall or the popular “same day edit.” All options are designed to adapt the wedding report to your priorities and style. My work has been recognized with awards and nominations (2016–2017), and I continue training with top national and international photographers to maintain a fresh and creative vision. I operate from Entrevías and cover weddings throughout Spain and abroad.
