Hello! I’m Begoña, the photographer behind Begoat Photo, and I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years. Based in Guindalera, Madrid, I specialise in wedding photography and wedding reportage, with the aim of telling the true story of your day: the looks, the spontaneous gestures and the unique atmosphere that make your celebration one of a kind. My artistic vision is at the heart of my work. I seek to go beyond pure documentary style by combining a natural, emotional approach with carefully composed frames—exploring light, angles and textures that give each image its own character. I work with respect and discretion, favouring authentic moments—without stiff posing—so the result is a reportage you can relive with the same feeling you had on the day. My background includes studies in imaging and specialised courses in wedding photography, and my career has allowed me to develop a thoughtful, consistent editing style that enhances the visual narrative. I value professionalism and a close relationship with couples: from our first conversation to the final delivery, I accompany you with clear communication, careful planning and attention to detail. How I work: we start with a conversation to learn your story and the priorities for the day. If you wish, we arrange a pre-wedding (engagement) session to break the ice in front of the camera and create intimate images before the big day. At the wedding I maintain a calm, attentive presence, blending documentary photography with brief, elegant interventions for portraits. Afterwards, I perform a meticulous edit that respects the aesthetic of the reportage and delivers images ready to print and share. I am based in Guindalera, Madrid, and can coordinate photography together with other audiovisual services when extended coverage is needed. My studio is also a meeting point to prepare sessions and review portfolios in person.
