Hello, couple! At Leona Studio, based in Puerta del Ángel (Madrid), we are passionately dedicated to wedding photography and video. We are Beatriz and Marta: Beatriz specializes in documentary and photojournalism; Marta is an audiovisual filmmaker. Together we offer a creative, human approach that places real emotions at the heart of your wedding story. What we do and how we do it: we cover everything from preparations to the party, paying attention to the small details that complete the day’s story. On the wedding day we usually work as a team of four professionals — two photographers and two videographers — to ensure both photo and video reach every location and no moment is missed. We prefer to work with natural light and use artificial lighting only when the setting requires it. Our approach to images: we treat each wedding as a unique reportage. We combine documentary photography with portrait techniques when appropriate (engagement or post-wedding sessions) to provide variety and depth in the album. Love sessions and post-wedding shoots are an intimate way to reclaim time for just the two of you and achieve calmer, more personal images. Video as an essential complement: Marta’s audiovisual perspective brings a narrative that complements the photography, creating pieces that help recreate the rhythm and atmosphere of the day. We work so the video feels like an emotive, faithful memory rather than an intrusive add-on.
