Sorin, of Manawa Photography, is a wedding photographer in Villanueva de la Cañada. His natural, approachable style seeks to capture real emotions without forced poses, to tell your story.
My name is Sorin and, as Manawa Photography, I am devoted by vocation to wedding photography. Manawa means “present moment”: that mindful attention and emotional connection are the foundation of my work. As a wedding photographer based in Villanueva de la Cañada, at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama, I specialize in honest, emotive reportage that favors natural moments over posed images. Why trust me with your wedding reportage? Because I aim to tell stories, not just take pictures. My eye focuses on the small signals — glances, gestures, silences — that define a day and never repeat. I work discreetly and with closeness: I accompany without intruding, so you can live every moment as it happens and, when you look at the photos, feel it again. That blend of documentary sensitivity and aesthetic care is what sets my wedding photography apart. My approach is simple and human. Before the wedding we usually talk to get to know each other, understand how your day will unfold and what matters most to you. On the day I adapt to the event’s rhythm: using natural light whenever possible, paying attention to the emotional narrative of the day, and seeking compositions that will stand the test of time. Afterwards, a careful process of selection and editing preserves the original atmosphere, enhancing emotion without artifice. Although my specialty is weddings, I also offer related sessions such as engagement and post-wedding shoots — an ideal way to break the ice in front of the camera — and the option to add video to your reportage. I also create baptism reports and individual outdoor portrait sessions when they fit the story you want to keep. If you value a warm, respectful and emotional way of documenting your day and want someone who truly wants to tell your story, let’s talk. I work mainly in the northwest Madrid area and travel when necessary. I love accompanying couples who seek authentic wedding photographs that feel like their own and let them relive each moment with the same emotion they felt on the day it happened.
