Diego Egusquiza

I’m Diego Egusquiza and my work as a wedding photographer in Segundo Ensanche (Pamplona) springs from a search for images that move you, not just images that are technically correct. I started with a DSLR given as a wedding present and quickly learned that the photography that excites me most is the kind that tells authentic feelings: a held-back laugh, an unexpected tear, a knowing silence. My goal is to freeze those emotions forever. My approach focuses on natural, spontaneous wedding photography, deliberately moving away from typical posed shots. I work as a close observer: I invest myself emotionally and wait for the true moments to arise so I can capture them without artifice. This way of working allows me to deliver wedding reportage that tells the full story of the day, from the nervousness of the preparations to the celebration, with a coherent and honest visual narrative. Before the big day I seek to get to know the couple: a conversation, a couple session or a quick meeting helps me understand who you are and how you want to remember your wedding. In the reportage I apply a mix of documentary and editorial styles: sincere documentation of moments combined with an aesthetic sensitivity to compose images that stand the test of time. I’m especially attentive to light and composition, never forcing attitudes; what matters is that the photos convey what you experienced. I also offer couple and engagement sessions when desired; I approach them as an opportunity to relax in front of the camera and build trust, not as a mere formality. Although my primary focus is wedding photography, I occasionally take on portrait photography projects when they fit the overall vision.
