I’m Jorge Masanet and I specialize in wedding photography in Alcoy and the surrounding area. My approach is documentary reportage: I observe, blend in, and shoot when genuine emotion appears. I work both on location and in the studio, offering full-day wedding coverage as well as engagement and post-wedding sessions. Pre-wedding sessions help the couple relax and get to know one another, which translates into more authentic, comfortable images on the wedding day. In post-wedding sessions we have the freedom to create slower, more personal images with chosen locations and controlled light. How I work: we’ll start with an initial conversation to understand your priorities and the pacing of the event. On the wedding day I work discreetly, attentive to detail and focused on the narrative of the day—preparations, ceremony, reception and party—without interfering with the natural flow of events. Afterwards I make a careful selection and perform handcrafted editing to deliver photographs with coherent aesthetic and emotional consistency. I value close relations and trust: I believe the rapport with my clients shows in the images. Although weddings are my specialty, I also create family reports, maternity sessions and portrait photography, and I occasionally pursue personal photography projects (landscapes and local events), always maintaining the same commitment to quality and naturalness.
