I am Kike Simón, the photographer behind KIKE SIMÓN PHOTO based in Almassora (Castellón). My principal work is wedding photography: I don’t just take pictures, I dedicate myself to capturing feelings and emotions that endure. I create unique, personalized wedding reports because, as I always say, no two weddings are the same; each one is a story that deserves to be told with honesty, creativity and technical rigour. My approach combines documentary sensitivity with a creative touch. Before the wedding day I like to meet couples in person to design a working plan: we discuss the style that best represents them, choose the settings for the shoots and agree on the key moments. That prior meeting allows me to tailor the approach to each couple and ensure the images reflect real, natural emotions. I take the responsibility of your wedding day very seriously. For that reason I never work alone: my team is made up of a minimum of two photographers (and sometimes three, depending on the type of coverage) and each photographer carries full equipment and backups. This prevents technical mishaps and guarantees continuous coverage throughout the day. I deliver all files in high resolution together with a digital album because I believe in giving clients the freedom to enjoy and use their photos as they wish. The wedding album is essential for me: all are leather and fully customisable, with options for details in wood, acrylic, porcelain or metal. I design exclusive albums for each couple — I don’t use templates — with the idea that this object should last a lifetime. I offer pre-appointment meetings at my studio to answer questions, show sample albums and fine-tune personal details; if I can’t find what you’re looking for, I will have it made. I work mainly in Castellón and the surrounding area, but I also undertake wedding assignments nationwide with the corresponding travel supplement.
